“Rise”
For all those who tried to hurt me
I’m trying to put it behind
If I don’t
I will be a star that has failed to shine
Scorned by many
Afflicted in the womb
Deeply wounded
Please no more pain
I’ve run out of room
Who is he
That would hurt a person so deep
And would continue with life
Like he is the commander or chief
Who is he
That would leave an innocent person
There to bleed
Am I not worthy of love
Weren’t we all made in the image of the creator above
For all those that tried to hurt me
I won’t try to figure it out
I will turn my pain into sunshine
And your love I will do without……
Can you find the power to move on even though you were hurt so deep? What you don’t realize is the person that hurt you probably don’t care. You have stopped your life and are living in despair, while the person that hurt you may or may not be aware. Often times they are and they are living life fancy free. Their life didn’t stop because they hurt you, even though it was very deep. How long will you allow that person or situation to control you. For some that person is dead and gone. You might as well be too, because you are not living the life that you were meant to. I know its hard, but you have to find a way to move on. I promise there is a beautiful world outside of your pain. Guard your heart and open your mind. Allow God to work everything changes, it will heal with time!
